What Contractor Operations Suite is
Contractor Operations Suite (COS) is an operations layer for contractors who run their business on QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace. It does not replace your accounting. It connects the tools you already use so one job flows from accepted estimate to final invoice without double entry, and it watches the whole job so the things that usually slip get caught.

What the integration does
COS follows a job the way you already run it: estimate, to pipeline, to schedule, to field, to invoice. QuickBooks Online is where the money lives, so COS reads from it to keep everything else in step.
Accepted estimate to live pipeline
When you accept an estimate in QuickBooks Online, COS pulls that job into your pipeline automatically, with the customer, amount, scope, address, and an automatic job number. No retyping.
Color-coded crew scheduling
Once you set the job’s dates, COS places it on the crew calendar as a color-coded block by status and keeps it in sync. The calendar and the pipeline always agree, with the most recent human edit winning.
Progress invoicing and AR, tied to QuickBooks
COS reads your QuickBooks invoices so it can show percent billed per job and how your accounts receivable are aging. When a phase or the whole job wraps, COS notifies you to bill, then tracks how much of the job is invoiced and what is left.
You make the calls. COS does the data entry.
COS never makes accounting decisions for you. The judgment calls stay with you in QuickBooks. COS handles the busywork around them.

So when a phase finishes, COS does not create or send an invoice. It pokes you where you already work, with a card in Google Chat, an entry on your calendar, and a task in Google Tasks, so billing never slips. You send the invoice in QuickBooks, and COS keeps the running total of what is billed against the job.

COS follows the way you already run a job. Here is the whole loop, from connecting QuickBooks to getting paid.

Connect QuickBooks Online
In COS, choose Connect to QuickBooks and approve the connection on Intuit’s secure consent screen. It is a one-time authorization. You sign in to COS with your Google account, and the QuickBooks link uses Intuit’s OAuth tokens, so COS never sees or stores your QuickBooks password.

Accept an estimate in QuickBooks
When you accept an estimate in QuickBooks Online, the job lands in your COS pipeline automatically, with the customer, amount, scope, address, and an automatic job number. There is nothing to retype.

Set the job’s dates
You enter the start or placeholder dates, and COS places the job on the color-coded crew calendar and keeps the calendar and pipeline in sync from then on. You tell it when; it handles the block.

Run the day from the calendar and Field View
The crew runs the day off one color-coded calendar. On the mobile Field View, each crew member sees today’s jobs, the scope, and tap-to-map addresses. One tap marks a phase done, and the pipeline, calendar, and Google Chat all update.

Bill as the work progresses
When a phase or the whole job wraps, COS notifies you to bill, with a card in Google Chat, an entry on your calendar, and a task in Google Tasks. You send the invoice in QuickBooks, and COS tracks how much of the job is billed and what is left.

Let the watchdog keep score
COS audits your jobs, calendar, and QuickBooks around the clock and taps you when something needs a person, like a job finished but never invoiced, so revenue does not slip through the cracks.

What COS reads from QuickBooks
COS connects to QuickBooks Online to read the job and billing data it needs to keep your pipeline and schedule accurate:
Estimates, so an accepted job lands in your pipeline with its scope and amount.
Invoices, so COS can show percent billed and accounts-receivable aging.
Customers, so each job is tied to the right client.
Line items, so scope and billing line up with the work.
COS does not replace QuickBooks for accounting. You continue to accept estimates and send invoices in QuickBooks itself. COS runs on QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace today.
Connecting and disconnecting
Connecting takes one authorization through Intuit’s secure consent screen. You approve the connection to your QuickBooks Online company, and COS can begin syncing your jobs. COS uses the connection token Intuit issues. It never sees or stores your QuickBooks password.
Disconnecting is available any time, from the Connected Apps section inside QuickBooks Online or from within COS. Intuit revokes the connection, COS immediately loses access to your QuickBooks data, and nothing further is read.
Security and privacy
No password to steal. You sign in with your Google account, and the QuickBooks connection uses Intuit’s OAuth tokens. COS stores neither password.
Encrypted in transit. All traffic runs over modern TLS.
Revoke any time. Disconnecting cuts off access immediately, on Intuit’s side and ours.
